Richard Renaldi

Biography

Richard Renaldi (*1968, Chicago, USA), is considered one of the most influential  contemporary portrait photographers in the United States. Renaldi received a BFA in photography from New York University in 1990. He is best known for his view camera work. Five monographs of his work have been published, including “Richard Renaldi: Figure and Ground” (Aperture, 2006); “Fall River “Boys” (Charles Lane Press, 2009); “Touching Strangers” (Aperture, 2014); “Manhattan Sunday” (Aperture, 2016); “I Want Your Love” (Super Labo, 2018). His work is exhibited and published internationally and found in important collections, both public and private. In 2015, Richard Renaldi was the recipient of a fellowship from the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation. He lives and works in New York.

Im Jahr 2015 erhielt Richard Renaldi ein Stipendium der John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation. Er lebt und arbeitet in New York.
